General Questions

  • Homey Rentals provides rental appliances and household essentials for guests staying at NYC hotels. Customers can rent small appliances or purchase must-have items, which are delivered to their hotel front desk on their check-in date.

  • We deliver to hotels within New York City. During checkout, you must select a hotel from our dropdown list. If your hotel is not listed, we currently do not service that location.

  • Yes. You must provide a valid hotel reservation and the name under which the reservation is booked. This ensures a smooth delivery process.

  • At Homey Rentals, we prioritize cleanliness and hygiene for all our rental items. After each rental:

    • For items with removable linens (e.g., bedding, pillow covers), all linens are thoroughly washed with detergent.
    • For non-removable fabric items and non-fabric materials (e.g., electronics, small appliances), surfaces are disinfected using a high-quality sanitizing spray.

    Our cleaning process ensures that every item is fresh, sanitized, and ready for the next guest.

Ordering and Payment

  • 1. Select your check-in and check-out dates.

    2. Browse and choose rental or purchase items.

    3. Pick your hotel from the dropdown at checkout.

    4. Complete your payment.

    5. Pickup your order from the hotel reception on the day of your check-in.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards.

  • Delivery is free for orders over $100. Orders below this amount have a standard $20 delivery fee.

  • Orders can be modified or canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations within 24hrs are not guaranteed. Please contact [email protected] and our representative will do their best to cancel your order.

Delivery & Pickup

  • Your order will be delivered to your hotel's reception/front desk on your check-in date between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM

  • No, we deliver to the hotel reception/front desk. However, it is your responsibility to check with the hotel staff regarding your delivery and to ensure that they will hold the order upon receipt.

  • We recommend checking with your hotel in advance. If a hotel refuses the delivery, we will attempt to contact you on your provided phone number. If we cannot reach your items will be returned and you will be refunded for all items and charged only the delivery fee of $20. Orders over $100, which have delivery fees waived will also be charged for the attempted delivery.

Rental Returns & Charges

  • On your check-out day, place the rented items in the provided Homey Rentals packaging and drop them off at the hotel reception/front desk. We will pick up the items later that day.

  • If you fail to return a rental item, you will be charged the full purchase price of the item instead of the rental fee.

  • Minor damages or excessive wear may result in a cleaning or repair fee. If an item is beyond repair, you will be charged the full purchase price of the item.

  • Please reach out to [email protected] and we will be happy to adjust your rental duration. Please note rental modifications cannot be guaranteed within 24hrs of return date. Please reach out to our support team and we will do our best to accommodate your changes.

Refund Policy

  • Sanitary, perishable, and personal-use items, are non-refundable. All other unopened items may be returned for a refund.

  • If we are unable to complete your order for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
